Co-founder and Managing Partner at Kaszek Ventures, the largest Venture Capital technology industry firm in Latin America. He is also Vice President for Venture Capital at ARCAP.
Before founding Kaszek Ventures in 2011, he co-founded MercadoLibre in 1999 (NASDAQ: MELI) the largest platform of electronic commerce and online payments in Latin America. He worked there for twelve years, the first 9 as COO and the last three as CFO.
Prior to this, he worked as Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble Co., and was a financial analyst at the United Nations Development Program and at a stockbroker firm.
Additionally, Mr. Kazah is currently a Board Member at several technology companies in Latin America and at ARCAP (Argentina’s Private Equity, Venture Capital and Seed Association).
He received an MBA from Stanford University and graduated magna cum laude in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires.
Mr. Kazah was also selected Endeavor Entrepreneur in 1999, awarded “The Outstanding Young Persons of Argentina” recognition by the Junior Chamber International in 2004, chosen Established Endeavor Entrepreneur in 2009, and obtained the Entrepreneur Master of the Year 2018 award by Ernst & Young Argentina together with his Partner Nicolás Szekasy.
