Senior Investment Officer with the Financial Institution team at IFC Corporation, part of the World Bank investing in the private sector.
She is responsible for developing, evaluating, structuring, negotiating and closing transactions including capital investments, Subordinated and Senior Debt and other instruments in the equity market. Based in Buenos Aires since July 2017, Verónica covers the markets of Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay, but has also carried out transactions in other countries in Latin America, specially Brazil where she was previously based.
Before International Finance Corporation, Verónica worked for Nova Advisors in São Paulo structuring transactions in the real estate industry totalizing R$ 1.8 billion. She previously worked for Citi in New York, Singapore and London as Vice President of the Corporate Bank and Risk Management. She started her career at the Ministry of Finance in the Province of Córdoba, Argentina. Verónica graduated with honors as Bachelor in Economics from the National University of Córdoba, Argentina and obtained her MBA at the Wharton School from the University of Pennsylvania, USA in 2003. Verónica is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
